We are going after the 99.
Only 1% of the world’s children have access to a Jesus-centered education.
A genuine saving knowledge of, and belief in, the Gospel is the greatest need of every person around the world, including every school-aged student. We can think of few arenas that hinder them more from coming to know Jesus than the current state of secular education around the world.
The transforming power of Jesus’ presence in the classroom is undeniable. Imagine the impact if twenty, thirty, or even fifty percent of school-aged students had access to a Jesus School.
Jesus Schools is a group of people who love Jesus, love children, and want to use education as a tool to bring children to Jesus.
We are not a school, ministry organization, church, political party, or denomination. Nor do we claim to be the first pursuit of Jesus in the classroom, but we want to be a catalyst for far more.
From a kitchen table with love…
This all started at a kitchen table with a couple simply trying to provide their kids with a Jesus-centered education in a town that had few options for Christian schooling. This Jesus School of five students is what led to a lifelong pursuit of providing children all over the globe with access to a Jesus School.
Over the past twenty years, the Lord has touched our hearts for the millions of children around the world who do not have the option to attend a Jesus School, or the means to start their own. We have been convicted of our need to do something about it, and we are convinced that the universal value of education, Jesus’ love for all nations, and the countless partners around the world make this change possible.
To worldwide access.
Tens of thousands of Jesus Schools already exist around the world and are being used by God to transform their communities. From a small rural school in the slums of Kenya to a massive private high school in South Denver, each of these schools has a story worth sharing and a mission worth supporting.
We also recognize that the need for more Jesus Schools is massive. More and more families are crying out for more accessible options for Jesus-centered education. They recognize the profound difference between schools centered on Jesus and those that are not. We are calling on all believers to join together to address this need.
